Anything small enough for a toddler to put in their mouth and choke on is probably not safe. I rarely used accessories in my daughter's hair when she was that age. I hope that helps!

Guess what I just received? My new Natural-Ness knit hat. The outer lining is very soft, I like that. I got black, but the inner lining is so beautiful and I am just so glad that it is lined because I can rock this without worrying about my kinky hair being snagged or putting it on slooooowly so that I do not rip any hair out. I think that keeping it simple is a great way to teach our children how to care for their hair in it's natural state. Too many want to apply gels and re-braid every other week and and just add on too much. Her hair is nice and healthy. Yaaay go mom!
